Introduction
Welcome to the media section of the PIF2009 website.
This section has been prepared for members of the media covering the Pacific Islands Forum that will take place in Cairns, Queensland, Australia, from 4-7 August, 2009. PIF is a key regional inter-government forum in the Pacific, addressing issues such as regional trade, economic development, the environment, security and good governance.
There are sections covering accreditation, media facilities, broadcast and photography services, accommodation, transport, forum information, latest news and contact details for Taskforce Media Staff.
We look forward to welcoming you to Cairns in August 2009.
